It’s the Prophet’s day ﷺ

A day of multiplied mercy.

A day the angels stand at the doors of the masjid, recording the names of those who show up to worship. 🤍

A day where prayers echo louder, and du’as are more likely to rise and reach.

✨ What is Jummah? ✨

• Jummah Is A Weekly Renewal Of The Heart: Like a spiritual reset button - to realign your heart, dust off the heaviness, sit with your creator and begin again.

• Mercy Multiplied: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday.”

• Unity: A day where believers gather, hearts connect in sacred rhythm.

• Legacy in Action: My children watching me pause for prayer, our home shifting into a softer rhythm - This too is da’wah. (an invitation)

🌺 Soft Ways to Honor Jummah at Home 🌺

• Play Qur’an softly while you get ready in the morning (Surah Kahf is especially beautiful)

• Make du’a with your whole heart - ask for big things, even if your faith feels small. Allah knows your heart.

• Light a candle. Breathe deep. Make wudu with special intention and stay in sujud longer.

• Reflect on the week - where did Allah show up for you? Where did you forget to show up for Him? None of us are perfect but Allah is the most forgiving.

It’s okay if you didn’t start the week strong.

It’s okay if you’re tired, unsure, or spiritually foggy.

This is your reminder: You are always one sincere intention away from closeness.

Jummah is not about perfection - It’s about presence.

O’ Allah,

Let this day be a doorway to Your Mercy.

Clear the fog from my heart,

Softly untangle the knots of worry,

and fill me with a faith that feel like home.

Let my prayers rise, even if they’re messy.

Let my efforts count, even if they’re quiet.

and let my love for You outgrow my fears,

My doubts, my distractions -

Until all that remains is surrender.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَعَنْ يَسَارِي نُورًا، وَفَوْقِي نُورًا، وَتَحْتِي نُورًا، وَأَمَامِي نُورًا، وَخَلْفِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا

Translation

Allahumma aj‘al fi qalbi nuran, wa fi basari nuran, wa fi sam‘i nuran,
wa ‘an yamini nuran, wa ‘an yasari nuran,
wa fawqi nuran, wa tahti nuran,
wa amami nuran, wa khalfi nuran,
waj‘al li nuran.

English Meaning

“O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight, light in my hearing.
Light on my right and light on my left.
Light above me and light beneath me.
Light in front of me and light behind me.
And place light for me.”
